The owner of a transport
vehicle cannot use his vehicle on any public place unless it is
covered with a valid permit. |

The transport vehicles
of the central or state government , local authorities , ambulances
, hearses , and those
whose registered laden weight is not more than 3000 kgs. are exempted
from permit. |

All educational institutions
buses require permit. |
